TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before confirming your registration and making payment. By completing your registration, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions laid out below.


  1. Organiser & Eligibility
    1. The Epic Run 2021 (Event) is organised by Epic Collective Sdn Bhd (Organiser) and is hosted by and on Neupulse Sdn Bhd’s (BiiB) platform.
    2. The event is open to everyone inside and outside of Malaysia. All minors (18 and below) must obtain consent from their parents/legal guardian to be bound by the Terms & Conditions set out herein in order to participate in this Event.
  2. How to Participate
    1. Registration shall start from 18th December 2020 to 9th January 2021. No late registration shall be accepted, unless otherwise arranged. Organiser’s decision is final and no further correspondence or appeal shall be entertained.
    2. The challenge period for this Event shall start from 10th January 2021 until 7th February 2021. There shall be no extension of submission, unless otherwise arranged. Organiser’s decision is final and no further correspondence or appeal shall be entertained.
    3. All submission of results must be submitted within 48 hours of the activity and before 11.59PM, 7th February 2021. Any late submission shall not be accepted.
    4. Participants are allowed to complete the challenge in one or an accumulation of multiple runs.
    5. Each submission shall comply with the rules stated in the event page, terms of conditions herein and any other rules imposed and/or amended by the Organiser from time to time.
    6. BiiB has the right to disqualify and reject any submission that is suspicious and/or incomplete and the decision is final and no further correspondence or appeal shall be entertained.
  3. Fundraising Guideline
    1. Each participant (regardless of whether you signed up as individual & team) is automatically granted the option to fundraise for Epic Homes. You can set your own fundraising target.
    2. Once you've registered, we will send you an email with the link to set up your own personalised fundraising page. If you have not received the email, you can also head directly to the Sedunia Website to set up your page. Follow the tutorial on the page, titled "Tutorial on How to Create Your Own Fundraising Booster".
    3. Once you've created your own fundraising booster, you can start fundraising by sharing the page link with your friends and family or on your social media page. Remember to hashtag #EpicRun #EpicHomesMY #TogetherWeAreEpic.
    4. Each participant shall be entitled to an Epic Official Merchandise T-Shirt if he/she fundraises a minimum of RM2,000 limited to first 25 fundraisers who achieve RM2,000.
    5. Each participant shall be entitled to a builder ticket if he/she successfully fundraises a minimum of RM2,500 (in addition to an Epic Official Merchandise T-Shirt for achieving RM2,000), an experience to build homes for the Orang Asli community, the builder ticket shall be valid until 31 Dec 2021 and shall not be encashed or transferrable or assignable unless otherwise agreed by the Organiser.
    6. All fundraising activities are deemed closed on 11.59pm on 7 February 2021, any funds collected thereafter shall not be counted for the purposes of individual reward entitlement.
  4. Additional Purchase:
    1. Additional Purchases are distributed out by the Organiser. They are an additional purchase which participants would need to make during registration.
  5. Delivery of Additional Purchase(s)
    1. Organiser reserves the right to appoint a third party vendor or service provider to handle the fulfilment or making available of the Purchased item and delivery of the item(s) to you. By providing your personal information including name, delivery address, contact numbers, email address and other information to the Organiser and BiiB, the Organiser can use and/or disclose to such third party vendor or service provider for the purposes of delivery service.
    2. Organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any delays or non-delivery of the item.
  6. Terms of Participation
    1. BiiB reserves the right to check the validity of each submission. Submissions failing to comply with the Terms and Conditions herein and/or rules stated in the event page shall not be accepted.
    2. BiiB reserves the right to disqualify any participant if there is reasonable ground to suspect such participant has:
      1. committed fraud;
      2. manipulated any submissions;
      3. acted dishonestly in relation to the run or submission or reward;
      4. breached the terms and conditions herein; or
      5. breached the rules stated in the event page.
      Any aggrieved participant may submit an appeal to BiiB, but BiiB’s decision on or relating to the appeal shall be full and final.
  7. Liability & Responsibility
    1. Organiser and BiiB reserve the rights to engage services of any third parties at any point of time as deemed fit.
    2. Organiser and BiiB reserve the right to modify or substitute or add or remove any of these rules and regulations of the Event from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, Organiser and BiiB shall be the authority to interpret and in so doing, Organiser and BiiB may take into account the interests of all affected participants.
    3. The completion and the submission of the online registration form confirm the participant's agreement to abide by the relevant rules and regulations of BiiB. The Event’s registration will be confirmed via the Welcome Email which will be sent to the email address registered with BiiB. The participant shall inform BiiB via Official Email at [email protected] if the participant does not receive the Welcome Email or any information entered during registration is inaccurate.
    4. The participant represents and warrants that by completing the registration, all information provided are true, accurate, current and complete information. BiiB may contact the participant from time to time via email. Any notice sent to the email address registered with BiiB shall be deemed as received by the participant. If the participant provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or BiiB has grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, BiiB may suspend or terminate the participant's registration.
    5. Any tickets and/or additional purchases shall not be refundable in any event unless otherwise agreed by the Organiser.
    6. Organiser and BiiB shall not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form.
    7. Organiser reserves the right to change the registration date or event date and the right to postpone or cancel the event at any time without prior notice to the participant in which case the Organiser shall make an effort to inform the participant prior to the date. If the Event shall be cancelled, there shall be NO refund of fees and the Organiser and BiiB shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused. Participants shall be informed of any updates or changes on the Event by way of email. It is the responsibility of the participants to keep abreast with such updates and changes, and the Organiser and BiiB shall not be liable for any loss or inconveniences caused.
    8. There shall be no refund of registration fees, if the Event is cancelled for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organiser (including but not limited to haze, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, act of God, terrorism, pandemic, government’s declaration of an enhanced movement control order and/or emergency or other conditions) and which in the Organiser’s opinion, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event.
    9. Organiser and BiiB reserve the right to limit and/or refuse entry without giving any reason and notice whatsoever.
    10. Organiser reserves the right to cancel and/or add any Event category without giving any reasons whatsoever as well as provide prior notice to the participant.
    11. This Event is a virtual event, participants may walk/run/hike at their own convenience during the Event Challenge Period, anytime and anywhere. participants shall run at their own risk and the Organiser and BiiB shall not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death, damage or loss of property, whether personal or otherwise, suffered or caused, arising from training for, during participation, or after participation in the Event. participants are strongly advised to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the Event.
    12. Organiser and BiiB reserve the right to use any information collected or made or received throughout the Event including records or submissions by runners, photographs, motion pictures, recordings, and any other media records of the Event or relating to the participants for any legitimate purposes including commercial advertising and distribution to Organiser, BiiB or to any authorised third parties.
  8. Entitlements
    1. Organiser and BiiB shall not be liable for any missing or lost courier due to incomplete/wrong/inadequate/outdated information provided by the participants or wrongdoing/damages or lost from the courier company.
  9. Privacy Policy
    1. By participating in this Event, the participants agree and acknowledge that BiiB collects, uses and processes and/or discloses (including third party overseas) participants’ personal information in order to conduct and deliver this Event. Each participant consents to such collection, use, processing and disclosure of his/her personal information and represents and warrants that all information provided is true and accurate in all respects. Validity of registration is conditional on providing this information. Each participant agrees that BiiB may, for a reasonable period of time, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or making phone calls to the participant(s).
  10. Jurisdiction
    1. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, and each participant irrevocable submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
