Challenge yourself to keep on moving during the Games and beyond

Event Details

In the darkest of times, the human ability to persevere, adapt, and to come together in solidarity ignites the beacon of hope that lights the way ahead in uncertainty.

The Olympic and Paralympic Games have always been a celebration of humanity, its fortitude, and its spirit. Sport has time and time again offered sanctuary and structure to those who participate in it. The Games are therefore a symbolically significant period in which to rally community, uplift each other, and remember those who are in need.

We recognize that community and our ability to connect with each other is integral to resilience and fortitude, just as movement and activity are essential to physical and mental well-being.

Thus, we invite you to join us virtually as a community during the symbolic duration of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, in a movement and activity challenge over 45 days.

Charity and Contribution

Peace and Sport is an international, neutral and independent organization which promotes peace using the power of sport.

The organisation is built around four key pillars: Mobilize, Connect, Demonstrate, Advocate. These pillars are upheld by its values of neutrality, resilience, inclusion, independence, equity and dialogue.

Peace and Sport takes concrete action to prove the federating, educational and social impact of sport through sport diplomacy initiatives and field programs with the support of its Champions for Peace club. The organisation is active globally through its field programmes, bringing together and developing partnerships between the Peace (NGOs, UN Agencies, Academics), the Sport (Olympic Family, International Federations, National Olympic Committees, Athletes) and the Political worlds with the aim of implementing and ensuring the sustainability of field programs, maximizing the use of sport for development and peace and leading social transformation in every area of the world affected by poverty or social instability.

IGNITX is partnering up with Peace and Sport to support the “Peacemakers Project”. Through a bottom-up approach, the Peacemakers Project will address various social issues. For its implementation, it will rely on the application developed by Peace and Sport in partnership with MyCoach and on the expertise of 10 selected organizations in 9 countries: Terres-en-Mêlées, COP-Colombia, Fundación ADA, TIBU-Maroc, the National Olympic Committee of Burundi, All Black Hong-Kong, Naandi Foundation, APJS, AKWOS and RFI Clubs. In order to best meet their needs, Peace and Sport will accompany them during 2 years, from the training of peace educators to the impact assessment related to the realities on the ground.

Based on the Peace and Sport Methodology, Peace and Sport by My Coach is an application through which peace-through-sport educators teach a method using the structuring values of sport to build peace. The App allows educators to easily access the methodology no matter where they are or what program they are working on.

We aim to reach a total collection of EU5,000.00 for the “Peacemakers Project”! Help us reach that target! To make a contribution of minimum EU5.00 (RM23.75), click the button below:

A6 : No, only one BiiB account is allowed to join the team/event.

Q7 : What does it mean 'System will not take overlapping activity into consideration'?
A7 : The system will not accept two activities for the same time, there can only be one activity for one specific period of time.

Eg: If you submit an activity for 10am till 11am, then your second submission states that the activity is from 10.30am to 11.30am, that is considered overlapping because you are supposed to be running from 10 - 11am and that is already one activity.

Q8 : What are sharing or tag-along activities?
A8 : This is when submitted activities are shared between participants. Eg: You and your friend run together but only one person tracks the activity, only one person can submit the activity for the event. If both participants submit the same activity, both submissions will be rejected by the system.

Q9 : How does the system track the mileage and how often is the system updated?
A9 : The system is built to add up all the mileage logged by the participant right after the success sync (LIVE). The mileage display will update as soon as you have finished a run/walk with successful sync or submission. You can view it either in BiiB+ App, under event (second tab from the left) or via personal running dashboard at getBiiB.com/me.

Q10 : How does syncing third party app work?
A10 : Your activity must be in your third party app account and that system before it will be synced over to us. If the third party app system does not have your activity, we will not receive any information/activity from the third party app system.
