Event Details
Penang State Executive Councillor for Tourism and Creative Economy (PETACE) YB Yeoh Soon Hin announced the comeback of Penang Bridge International Marathon Virtual Run 2021, featuring brand-new challenges and conventional marathon categories.
Themed #ARunTowardsNormalcy, the virtual run is complimentary for all and can accommodate runners from across the globe. Registrations for the race begin 20 October 2021. Meanwhile, the race will commence on 0000 (12am) of 21 November 2021 and end at 2359 (11.59pm) of 20 December 2021 following GMT+8.
All runners must complete their registration and connect one tracking app or GPS wearables to BiiB, and ensure that the tracking app, which has been successfully synced, is turned on before the run to record the distance.

The speed challenges for PBIM VR 2021 are applicable for 5km, 10km, 21km (Half Marathon) and 42km (Full Marathon). No race packs or finisher medals will be awarded upon completion, but participants will be eligible for the e-certificate if the race is completed within the respective qualifying time:

Rules
R1: Participants are only allowed to submit active outdoor distance tracked activities. Step Count activity/app will NOT be accepted.
R2: Participants to ensure that all activities are;

From an active outdoor running/walking activity. Tracking your steps/walk over the whole day is not an active activity.
