Event Details
We aim to achieve net proceeds of RM30,000 which will go towards funding an education program for the children of Rumah KIDS (www.rumahkids.com).
In a recent study, it was found that the children of Rumah KIDS have one major weakness – they are all poor in Bahasa Malaysia proficiency. This is affecting their grades in school.
Rumah KIDS has set a vision called Vision 2030 where by 2030, every child growing up in Rumah KIDS will graduate with a degree from a University.
This goal cannot be achieved if we do not improve Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.
This fund will help them employ qualified BM language teachers to help all the children.

Participation
150K Steps Challenge Winner!
Every participant will be tracked. You will be awarded points for achieving the daily minimum of 5,000 steps. Consistency is the most important thing and next comes the grand total number of steps you walked during the Challenge period 1 Oct to 30 Oct.
Based on a points system, the top 10 finishers will be announced. Each winning finisher will get RM500 worth of Zanadu Plant Protein AND RM480 worth of Wellness Concept health products.
That is a whopping total value of RM980 each!
Lucky Break!
To qualify for this Lucky Draw, you just need to complete 5,000 steps a day for any 20 days during the Challenge period.
If you qualify, your name will be in a lucky draw pool and TEN Lucky Winners will be announced!
Each of the Lucky Break winners will receive a Gorgeous PickleBall Set worth RM 350 each!
Creative Genius Contest
Just snap pictures while walking during the Challenge Period and upload your best three shots! The hashtag is #rumahkids150K
The best three Creative Genius Contest winners will each receive a Centon REVOLVE Air Fryer worth RM 420 each.
Contest Rules
1. All Winners will be announced on this website by 10 November 2025.
2. All decisions will be made solely by the Organising Committee. All decisions are considered final and no appeals will be entertained.
3. For those who live outside of Malaysia, if you win a prize, you will have to pay for the cost of the transporting the prize to your location.
Rules
R1: Participants are only allowed to sync active steps.
R2: No manual submission of steps will be accepted. All steps results must come in through third party apps which are Google Fit, Huawei Health (Huawei Mobile Devices) or Apple Health (iOS).
R3: Participants to ensure that all steps are synced before the event ends on Tuesday, 30 September 2025 (23:59:59 GMT +8). Late sync shall not be accepted.

Organiser Details:
Rumah KIDS, is a society registered as Persatuan Rumah Kanak-Kanak Ini DiSayangi (KIDS). We have been operating continually since 1991 and more than 300 children have been raised.
Some of the children are orphans, some come from homes of abuse and neglect. A few come from broken homes where a single parent, usually a single mum, is unable to care for the children. We are licensed by Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Malaysia.
The children are in three locations. The Boys are in USJ1 while the Girls and Toddlers are in Klang.
We have a 7 member board of directors, all of whom are volunteers. The children are cared for by 15 full-time paid staff.
Our monthly operating budget is approximately RM85,000. The government provides a food grant of about RM65,000 per annum. We depend on the public for our operations.
