Melaka International Marathon 2023 is presented to you by Jojo Events, Blitz One, MMTF Consultant and Lizard SRC. Melaka International Marathon 2023 will be held between 17 – 20 August 2023 at Dataran Sejarah, Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
Melaka International Marathon 2023 will be organized at the highest standard following guidelines provided by World Athletics and Malaysia Athletic Federation (MAF).
Melaka International Marathon 2023 will showcase Melaka’s unique, rich culture and history to the world as runners will be taken to the heart of Melaka via Dataran Sejarah, Dataran Pahlawan, and Dataran 1Malaysia. Runners will be taken on a journey through the old and modern Melaka in an attempt to make Melaka a new running destination in Malaysia.

- Schedule is subject to change when deemed necessary by the organizer.
- Please follow the instructions of signages and event crews at all times.
- No Vaccine No Race Rule
- No Race Bib No Race Rule
- All baggage bags must be retrieved with RUNNER’S BIB at the respective baggage counters by 11:00 am (19 and 20 August 2023) either by runners themselves or by a representative. Any baggage not collected after 11:00 am may be disposed of. The organizer will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any item in the drop bag.

PRIZES
SUPPORT CREW
Support crews are not required for this race, as the respective water stations by the organizer are adequate for runners to successfully complete the race.
If you have support crews, kindly ensure that they only support you at the respective water stations only. Support crews are not allowed on the course, as they could be a hazard to other runners or to themselves. Anyone found to have breached this rule of law will be disqualified and evicted from the course.
Organizer is not responsible for the safety of support crews. The registered runner is responsible for the actions of his/ her support crews. Support crews must comply with all instructions from event officials. The runner may be penalized or disqualified for actions or breaches of the rules by their support crew.
Support crews must not consume refreshments at water stations along the route and at the finish line. Refreshment is for the competitors only.

REFUNDS AND TRANSFER
There is NO REFUND and TRANSFER option for this event.
CATEGORY CHANGE
CATEGORY UPGRADE/ DOWNGRADE BEFORE 30 JUNE 2023
If you would like to change the race category after registering, you are able to upgrade or downgrade your category before 30 June 2023 11:59pm.
For upgrade, you are required to pay the category price difference and a RM30.00 cash administration fee.

For downgrade, you are required to pay a RM30.00 cash administration fee, however the difference in the category price will not be refunded.

Finisher Medals
- Finisher medals will only be awarded to runners, upon completion of race within cut off time.
- Registered participants who do not turn up in person on Race Day will be disqualified and will not be entitled to a finisher medal.
Event T-Shirt
- All participants will receive an event tee.
- Participants are advised to refer to the size chart and select their sizes carefully to avoid any sizing issues. No exchange will be allowed after confirmation of registration.
Finisher T-Shirt
- Finisher T-shirt will only be awarded to 21KM HALF MARATHON and 42KM FULL MARATHON runners, who completed their race within cut off time.
- Participants are advised to refer to the size chart and select their sizes carefully to avoid any sizing issues. No exchange will be allowed after confirmation of registration.
- Finisher T-Shirt design is in progress.
Shuttle Bus Service
Free shuttle service will be provided for runners (to and back journey) between MITC and Dataran Sejarah. Meanwhile we are also looking into other areas according to the demand and feasibility.
We will provide the bus timing schedules to all runners nearer to date.

Documents Required for REPC
- Confirmation slip
Note: We encourage a paperless environment. Hence, a confirmation slip displayed through mobile/smartphone at the REPC counter will suffice. - Participants can also produce National Registration Identity Card (Malaysian) or Passport with a confirmation slip for verification during REPC.
- Participants can request for collection on behalf with their confirmation slip presented at REPC.
- Please note that race entry packs will not be issued on race day.
Insurance Coverage
All runners are covered by Personal Accident Insurance
