TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before confirming your registration and making payment. By completing your registration, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions laid out below.


  1. Organiser & Eligibility
    1. The “#RUNwithOLYMPIANS #RUNforOLYMPISM” (“Event”) is organised by Malaysia Olympians Association and Malaysian Olympism in Action Society (hereafter collectively referred as "Organiser") and is hosted by Neupulse Sdn Bhd (BiiB) (hereafter referred as "Host") and is open to all Malaysians and Non-Malaysians (“Participant(s)").
    2. All minors (18 and below) must obtain consent from their parents/legal guardian to be bound by the Terms & Conditions set out herein in order to participate in this Event.
  2. How to Participate
    1. Registration will open from 1 May 2021 to 7 June 2021. The Organiser’s decision is final and binding. No further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
    2. The challenge/running period for this Event will start from 1 June 2021 until 22 June 2021 ("Event Challenge Period"). The Organiser’s decision is final and binding. No further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
    3. All submission of results must be submitted within 72 hours after the end of the activity and before 23:59 on 22 June 2021. Submissions after the aforementioned submission timeframe, date and time will not be accepted.
    4. Each Participant in a team is required to complete a minimum of 5km. Each Participant is allowed to complete the minimum of 5km in a single or an accumulation of multiple runs.
    5. Participants are allowed to register in one team only. Every team may consist of 2 to 15 participants.
    6. Participants must sync/submit their outdoor active walking/running/hiking activities only. No passive activity tracked over the whole day will be accepted.
    7. Participants are responsible to ensure that their results are well tracked and synced to BiiB. If there is any issue with the syncing, manual submission can be made for each activity as a backup.
    8. Participant’s submission must include the following and must be accurate, correct and complete:
      • Distance;
      • Duration;
      • Pace;
      • Date & Time; and
      • Running Route (outdoor only)
    9. Participants are not allowed to make amendments on their results once it has been submitted. Should there be any error in the submission, participants are required to delete the wrong submission and submit their results again immediately.
    10. Participants will be automatically disqualified if one of the following is identified/occurs:
      • Unrealistic/faulty results (evidence & data will be collected);
      • Sharing/Tag along activities are found; or
      • Failure to respond to the result enforcement officer within 24 hours
    11. The Organiser and Host have the right to disqualify and reject any submission that is suspicious and/or incomplete. The decision is final and binding. No further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
  3. Entitlements
    1. All Participants who finished a minimum of 127km with his/her team will be awarded an E-Certificate. The E-Certificate will be emailed to the registered email after the end of the Event. This entitlement shall not apply to participants who are unable to complete the requirements set within this Event.
    2. Every participant will receive an Event’s T-Shirt upon successful payment of the registration fee.
  4. Reward Criteria
    1. Rewards will be awarded based on random selection (lucky draw) among teams that have completed a minimum of 127km.
    2. The Organiser reserves the right to change any criteria for the awarding of rewards as they see fit. The Organiser’s decision is final and binding. No further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
  5. Rewards
    1. Rewards are given out by the Organiser and are on an “as is” basis and are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable for cash or with vouchers of other denominations, whether in part or in full.
    2. Any Reward which is unclaimed will be forfeited, it will thereafter be deemed to have lapsed unconditionally and irrevocably. Participants whose Reward has been forfeited or unclaimed are not entitled to any payment or compensation from the Organiser and Host notwithstanding non-receipt of notification.
  6. Delivery
    1. The Organiser reserves the right to appoint a third-party vendor or service provider ("Courier Service Provider") to handle the fulfilment or making available of the Reward and delivery of the Reward(s) to you. By providing your personal information including, but not limited to, name, delivery address, contact numbers, email address and other information to the Organiser and the Host, the Organiser and the Host can use and/or disclose to such Courier Service Provider for the purposes of delivery service.
    2. The Organiser and the Host shall not be responsible or liable for any delays or non-successful delivery of the Reward.
    3. The Organiser and Host shall not be liable for any missing courier due to incomplete/wrong/inadequate information provided by the Participants or wrongdoing/damages or loss from the Courier Service Provider.
    4. Delivery of Entitlements and Rewards will only be made to a Malaysian address. The delivery fee is included in the registration fee.
  7. Terms of Participation
    1. The Host reserves the right to check the validity of each submission at any time. Any submissions in breach of these Terms and Conditions herein will not be accepted.
    2. The Host reserves the right to disqualify, at any time, any Participant suspected of fraud, or if the Host believes that the Participant’s submission and/or result has been manipulated in any way by machines or computers.
  8. Liability & Responsibility
    1. The Organiser declares by virtue of being the Organiser, they may engage services of third parties at any point of time as deemed fit.
    2. The Organiser and the Host reserves the right to modify, add to or substitute any of these Terms and Conditions of the Event from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organiser and the Host shall be the authority to interpret and in so doing, the Organiser and the Host will take into account the interests of all affected Participants.
    3. The completion and the submission of the online registration form confirms the Participant's agreement to abide by the relevant rules and regulations of the Organiser and the Host. The Event’s registration will be confirmed via the Welcome Email which will be sent to the email address registered by the Participant. The Participant shall inform the Host via [email protected] if the Participant does not receive the Welcome Email or if any information entered during registration is inaccurate.
    4. The Participant agrees to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about the Participant. The Organiser and the Host may contact the Participant from time to time via email. Any notice sent to the email address registered by the Participant shall be deemed as received by the Participant. If the Participant provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or the Host has grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, the Organiser and the Host may suspend or terminate the Participant's registration.
    5. There will be NO REFUND of any fees paid to Participant who do not eventually take part in the Event for whatever reason it may be.
    6. The Organiser and the Host will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form.
    7. The Organiser and the Host reserves the right to change any relevant date, or to cancel the Event entirely at any time without prior notice to the Participant, in which case the Organiser and the Host will make an effort to inform the Participant prior to the Date. If the Event must be cancelled, there shall be NO refund of fees and the Organiser and the Host shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused. Any updates on the Event including any changes will be informed through registered email. It is the responsibility of the Participants to keep abreast of such updates and changes.
    8. There will be no refund of registration fees, if the Event is cancelled for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organiser and the Host (including but not limited to haze, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, act of God, terrorism, pandemic, government’s declaration of an enhanced movement control order and/or emergency or other conditions) and which in the opinion of the Organiser and the Host, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event.
    9. The Organiser and the Host reserves the right to limit and/or refuse entry or participation of any Participant without giving any reason and notice.
    10. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel and/or add any Event category without giving any reasons and without providing prior notice to the Participant.
    11. This Event is a virtual event. Participants may walk/run at their own convenience, anytime and anywhere during the Event Challenge Period. Participants shall run at their own risk and the Organiser and the Host will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death, damage or loss of property, whether personal or otherwise, suffered or caused, arising from training for, during participation, or after participation in the Event. Participants are strongly advised to undergo a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the Event. The Participants are encouraged to be insured prior to the registration of the Event.
    12. The Organiser and the Host reserves the right to use any information shared during submission -photographs (including those of Participant), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution by the Organiser and the Host.
  9. Privacy Policy
    1. By participating in this Event, the Participant agrees and acknowledges that the Organiser and the Host collects, uses and processes and/or discloses (including third party overseas) participants’ personal information to conduct this Event. The participant shall consent to such collection, use, processing and disclosure of his/her personal information and represents and warrants that all information provided is true and accurate in all respects. The validity of registration is conditional on providing this information. The Participant agrees that the Organiser and the Host may, for a reasonable period of time, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or making phone calls to the Participant.
  10. Jurisdiction
    1. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, and each Participant shall submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
