The UWH Congress is presented to you by the Malaysia Underwater Hockey Association sanctioned by CMAS Underwater Hockey Commission. It will be held from 16th October - 19th October 2023 at Ibis Kuala Lumpur, (Referee & Coaching Course). This congress is organized for the very first time and hope to create and certify more underwater hockey coaches and referees out there.

Q1 : Is this a CMAS sanctioned event?
A1 : Yes! This will be a Sanctioned CMAS Underwater Hockey event.

Q2 : If it is my first time doing level 1 referee course, can i continue straight to do my level 2?
A2: Yes you can. However we highly encourage those who have done their level 1 previously with no proper certification only to being able to do the level 1 and 2 together. These is to avoid failures during the assessment which requires candidates to have minimum experience being a referee.

Q3 : Can i do my referee course and volunteer to be a deck ref during the 4v4 International Club Championship?
A3 : Yes you may. However please contact the organizers in advance to arrange the referee roster.

Q4 : How do i know if i am qualified to do the level 1 coaching course?
A4 : Anyone is allowed to do the level 1 coaching course. However we highly encourage those attending the coaching course to atleast have a level 1 referee course done to have the basic knowledge on the rules and regulations of the game.

Q5 : Is Breakfast and Lunch provided during the course?
A5 : Yes! Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for all participants.

Q6 : What language will the courses be conducted in?
A6 : English.

Q7 : Will there be an assessment at the end of the course?
A7 : Yes. There will be an online assessment for participants to complete before the end of the session.

Q8 : What happens if i fail?
A8 : Participants will be given at an additional attempt to redo the assessment. If the participant fails a second time, the course outcome will be considered as unsuccessful and the participant would not get their certificate.
